What will eventually be paid
- Card generation from your own material beyond the free allowance, which is currently one imported document and three generations a day
- Bulk ingestion of large document sets
Turning your own documents into cards costs us real money per page, so that is where a paid tier will sit. Studying the catalog does not, so it stays free.
The generation allowance is generous while we are in beta. Any reduction would be announced before it took effect, and nothing you have already built would be taken away by it.
Current limits
- Generation from your own material has a per-account allowance, because it costs real money per page. The allowance is generous during the beta.
- Very large uploads are chunked and queued rather than processed instantly.
- Abuse controls apply, including the acceptable use policy on what may be studied here.
